ABOUT
Nook & Nowhere is a witchy, feminist space, that is an escapist space of joy. It connects book lovers with one another, and connects book lovers to the wonderful worlds of romance, of fantasy, of inspiring hero’s journeys and more.
The owners of the bookstore are two ambitious, witty, and bold Scorpios.
Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Nook & Nowhere was a special one to get to create. And seeing this brand come to life in person was the most magical feeling ever.
THE BRAND
It was important that the brand felt like a whole world. A cozy nook where you can escape and read a good book full of wonder.
The brand got a timeless logo that feels witchy, a bit old-timey and elegant, with supporting brand marks.
It also got a jewel-toned color palette, sexy brand fonts, and velvet rainbow textures. And I illustrated a whole world of critters including a wise owl, a bookworm, a sleeping cat, and more accoutrement. All of it coming together to create a brand that you want to escape into.
